The Ascension Parish Library will host a career and resource fair featuring area employers, schools, and organizations. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from these organizations and discuss open positions, the application processes, and even interviews on the spot. Some of these organizations are looking to hire now. It is a great time to start a new career path, find a new opportunity, or learn a new skill or trade. Professional attire is recommended. Bringing copies of your resume is encouraged.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit booths from a variety of businesses including Acadian Ambulance, Ascension Public Schools, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, BASF Corporation, Gonzales City Police, Rouses Markets, Acadian Total Security, Prairieville ER & Hospital, Kelly Education, and much more.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
