Join us for a groovy interactive experience featuring everyone’s favorite cool cat, Pete!

Pete the Cat takes center stage in this groovy interactive event! Read, sing, and play together as we highlight two favorites, Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party and Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons. Practice shoe-tying skills with colorful lacing cards and complete a craft inspired by Pete’s cool style to take home. Then, recharge with juice and goldfish snacks. This interactive program is perfect for little learners and Pete the Cat fans. It encourages early literacy, creativity, fine motor skills, and is lots of fun. It’s a fantastic, far-out way to spend the day!

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
