Prepare for the upcoming Boucherie & Balloon Festival by learning how to cook cracklins.

Ascension Parish Library is teaming up with the Boucherie & Balloon Festival to host a live demonstration on how to cook cracklins the Boucherie way. Chef Meaux and two competition cracklin cooks will share the techniques behind this Louisiana tradition. Whether you’re interested in competing in the festival’s annual Cracklin Cook-Off or simply want to learn how to make this popular local favorite, this class is for you.
