Sidewalk Astronomy
with Don Weinell
Tuesday, November 17
6:00pm - 7:30pm
Look up from your usual evening routine and see what’s waiting in the night sky!
Take a closer look at planets, stars, and other celestial wonders with help from experienced astronomy enthusiasts—and you might even catch a glimpse of Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters, or a distant galaxy, weather permitting.
Learn your way around the autumn sky with help from Don Weinell, with the Baton Rouge Astronomical Society and other astronomy enthusiasts, and see how a telescope brings the night sky a little closer.
