The Kickoff to Better Health Community Health Fair brings together local health and wellness professionals to help you discover practical ways to build healthier habits and stay well throughout the year. Take advantage of health screenings, nutrition tips, fitness challenges, wellness resources, healthy snacks, raffles, and giveaways—all in one fun, interactive event. Bring your team spirit, too! Wear your favorite team gear for a chance to win the Best Dressed Fan Contest.
The health fair is presented in partnership with Excel Rehabilitation Services, Cardiovascular Institute of the South, At Homecare of Louisiana, Francois Bend Senior Living, Southern Grace Hospice, and Holly Court Assisted Living.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
