Drop by to watch Practical Magic, enjoy light refreshments, and make a floral sachet to take home.

Step into fall with a cozy movie and craft night as we screen Practical Magic (1998, 1h 44m, PG-13 ) and create floral sachets. Raised by their eccentric aunts in a small Massachusetts town, sisters Sally and Gillian Owens come from a long line of witches. When a family curse threatens their chance at love, they must rely on each other, and a little magic, to break it.

Put together your floral sachet by mixing dried flowers with essential oils in a personal take-home bag. The library will provide all craft supplies and movie snacks.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
