September’s Pick: The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. This book was a 2014 Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) Best Fiction for Young Adults selection. Seventeen-year-old Cassie Hobbes has a unique talent for profiling people, but she never expected her skills to land her a spot in a secret FBI program for teens with extraordinary abilities. Alongside a team of other “Naturals,” Cassie helps solve cold cases while discovering that someone is watching their every move.
Call 225-622-3339 to register and reserve your spot.
Note: While our book picks are curated for teens, parents may choose to review selections to make sure they are a good fit for their reader. Questions? Contact the library in Galvez.
