"Oh, bother...it's time to celebrate!" You are invited to a very special birthday party honoring 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh! Explore the Hundred Acre Wood through hands-on activities, games, crafts, and treats inspired by A.A. Milne's beloved characters.
Children and adults can wander from station to station, collecting memories as they visit Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga & Roo, Christopher Robin, and the Hundred Acre Wood. Each stop offers a unique activity celebrating friendship, imagination, kindness, and adventure.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
