Activity RoomPajamas welcome! Snuggle up for bedtime stories, songs, rhymes, and a game about nighttime noises, friendly surprises, and cozy fun at the library.
When the lights go out, every creak, rustle, and bump can sound like a mystery! Join us at the library for a cozy pajama storytime celebrating the fun side of nighttime surprises. We'll discover that many of those curious sounds and shadows are simply part of bedtime adventures and not so scary after all.
Families are invited to come dressed in their favorite pajamas and enjoy two to three engaging picture books, interactive songs, rhymes, and a game designed to encourage participation and early literacy. We'll wrap up the evening with smiles, laughter, and the comforting reminder that bedtime can be full of imagination instead of fright. A cute squirrel magnet will make the perfect non-scary craft.
This family storytime is designed for young children and their caregivers and lasts approximately 30–35 minutes.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
