Seed keeping is a rewarding hobby and a great skill for every gardener to know.
Discover some tips and tricks for saving seeds from your own garden, including harvesting seeds, drying and storing seeds properly, and planting them at the right time for success.
Anna Timmerman is a Horticulture Extension Agent for the LSU AgCenter in the greater New Orleans Area. She has been with the AgCenter for nine years, working with home gardeners, farmers, and green industry professionals. She holds a master’s degree from Louisiana State University from the School of Plant, and Environmental, and Soil Sciences. She was recently appointed as the LSU AgCenter State Citrus Point of Contact.
This workshop is organized by Ascension Parish Library and the LSU AgCenter to educate adults interested in gardening, landscaping, and modern agriculture.
