Step back in time with this movie musical, first released in 1972 and still celebrated on stages today. The film brings to life the debates and decisions of the Continental Congress as they approach the historic date of July 4. Drawing from real letters, memoirs, and historical records, it follows figures like John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson as they meet, argue, and ultimately work together to sign the Declaration of Independence.
Refreshments will be provided, so sit back, relax, and discover the challenges and triumphs behind America’s beginnings.
Run time for the film is two hours and 21 minutes.
