Learn sewing basics and make a drawstring bag. Registration required. Space is limited.
Dutchtown High School teacher Nicole Stallings will demonstrate basic sewing techniques in one of two single-session classes. This is the perfect opportunity for beginners or those who want to brush up on their skills. Learn how to thread and operate a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, sew basic stitches, and make a 5/8” seam. The library will provide sewing machines and all of the necessary supplies. By the end of the class, you will have a finished drawstring bag to take home.
