Get signed up for summer reading and enjoy some farm-inspired fun for the whole family! Cajun Cuties Mobile Petting Zoo will be at each location with a pot-belly pig, ducks, chickens, rabbits, goats, and a miniature horse to pet. There will be bean bag toss, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk. Plus more activities inside.
Create and learn in the Makerspaces at St. Amant and Donaldsonville, or try out one of our video games.
Our kickoff party at the Study Commons at the WAG Center coincides with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office summer celebration. The fire department will be there with its pumper truck to keep kids cool.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
